  • Just Between Friends of North Indy supports local charities, so if you choose to donate your unsold items they go to use in our local community immediately to help families in need! If you choose not to donate, all of your items will be sorted and ready for pick up.

Don't have time to tag? Let us do it for you!

Registering for our VIP Tagging Program is your answer.  VIP Consignors earn 45% on their sold items (50% if you volunteer 4 hrs or more), pay a $20 consignor and supply fee and receive a consignor pass and 2 friend passes to the consignor presale Tuesday, April 22nd from 4:30-9pm.

 YEAR ROUND VIP TAGGING DROP OFF! As soon as you gather it, remove it!!

CONSIGNOR DROP OFF:

All drop-off and pick up items will be at the Exhibit Hall A, B and C (in the main building of the Hamilton County Fairgrounds)

*Consignor Check-in will be located on the South end of the building*

Monday April 21st from 10am-8pm
Perfect Consignors can drop off Sunday April 20th from 8-9pm.
Please allow at least 1 hour for drop-off

AT DROP-OFF YOU CAN EXPECT THE FOLLOWING:

  • Check in at the computer
  • Complete Consignor Waiver
  • Pick up Consignor, Friends & Volunteer Presale Passes
  • Have all clothing and shoes inspected
  • Place your items on the sales floor (it is recommended to have your clothes sorted by size and gender in order to make the process go quicker for you)

  • 4:30pm - Consignors & Consignors Friends Presale. (Consignors will receive 2 friend passes at drop off)

CONSIGNOR PICK UP:

SUNDAY April 27th 5pm-7pm
Please allow 30 - 45 minutes for pick-up

If someone other than the original consignor will be picking up the unsold merchandise, it must be noted on the consignor waiver.

AT PICK-UP YOU CAN EXPECT THE FOLLOWING:

  • Locate your consignor number on the clothing racks
  • Locate you consignor number and waiver on the table tops
  • Double check that all your items belong to you
  • Check Lost and Found
  • Sign your waiver

Items not picked up by 7:01pm will be donated to the Good Samaritan Network of Hamilton County. The donation truck will be loaded at this time and no entrance will be given to anyone who is late. We must vacate the building at our scheduled time and it is not possible for us to take items not picked up home with us.

Consignors please note we offer a savvy shopper shop time for volunteers who participate with the breakdown process.  Items that are marked for "donate" only that did not sell during normal hours of the sale are sold at 75% off to a selected few.  If you would prefer your items NOT be sold at 75% off and donated directly to GSN please click here to notify us.

Perfect Consignor Status?

Perfect Consignor Rules and Guidelines:

We have come up with a tangible way to thank our consignors who consistently follow the JBF guidelines and bring great items to the sale. If you have only 0-3 stained, damaged, unacceptable, wrong season or recalled items pulled at drop off or during the sale and you will be considered a "perfect consignor" and your name will be added to a list which allows you to bypass inspection at the NEXT SALE! During extra busy times this could save you a lot of time.

If you qualify for this you will need to check the Perfect Consignor list to make sure your number is listed. We work very hard to sell the best items and shoppers satisfaction is important to us. Guidelines will need to be followed each sale in order to remain on the list.

How do I qualify and keep my Perfect Consignor status?

  • You must NOT have more than 3 items rejected during the previous sale’s inspection process or pulled from the sales floor due to damage, dirt, stains, tears, recalls, wrong season, etc.
  • Make sure myjbftags.com profle city is set to North Indianapolis prior to drop-off.
  • Items must be tagged and ready to place on the floor upon arrival.
  • Price items reasonably so they will sell to earn you the best return for your efforts.

It’s that easy! Your name will be placed on the Perfect Consignor list and you can SKIP INSPECTION! All you will need to do is check in at the computer during drop off for your special "I've Checked In Sticker" and put your items out on the floor.

Acceptable Items:
Dining room sets, bedroom furniture, end tables, coffee tables, chairs, bookcases, armoires, hutches, desks, porch furniture (wicker, rocker, porch swings), bunk beds, twin beds, toddler beds, chest of drawers, cribs and changing tables. PLEASE BRING ONLY YOUR BEST!

Unacceptable Items:
Antique Furniture, sofas, lamps, figurines, dishes, pictures, mattress sets (except infant/toddler) luggage and exercise equipment.

ReGifting Items:
We will have a few tables for new items that are specifically related to MOMS. This gives you a terrific chance to re-gift all those wonderful, thoughtful items that have never been used…like that third George Foreman Grill, a knife or stainless steel mixing bowl set, the Bath & Body Gift Pack in your least favorite fragrance or a no-longer-needed desk organizer. Please bring only "family-friendly" items that are new.

Requirements for an item to be included in Mommy Mart.

  • All items must be intact and sturdy.
  • We cannot guarantee that we will have volunteers available to help you unload your items, so be sure to bring your own "muscle" to unload and set up your item.
  • If you have a question about the acceptability of your item, we urge you to contact us before the sale and ask us if it will be acceptable. Don't haul your item down to the sale only to have it turned away for unacceptability, just make a call or send an email ahead of time! dawn@jbfsale.com 317.379.9343

Multi-Piece Item Tagging Instructions:

Items with multiple separate pieces, put a tag on EACH piece. Fill out the first tag as normal but include " 1 of X", where X is the number of pieces. On all of the other tags, write your consignor number, the description, and "2 of X", "3 of X" etc.

DO NOT write the PRICE on any tag except the first when you are selling multiple pieces for one price.

Your hanging clothing should look like this picture!  The direction of the hanger should form a "?" mark. Follow the guidelines on the merchandise prep page to ensure your items are properly tagged.

  • JBF accepts all clothing items that have to do babies and kids. From preemie onesies to teen boy football jerseys. That would include: sleepwear accessories (belts, hats, bows, socks, under garments, etc.) uniforms (school, team, karate, Boy Scouts, etc.) costumes & dress-up holiday outfits (Christmas and Easter)
  • JBF accepts only current fashions.
  • Please do not bring items over five years old. All sizes sell well. (Larger and Plus sizes usually sell out.)


TOYS, TOYS, TOYS:

  • Infant / Babies: Rattles, bouncy seats, play gyms, Bumbos, activity mats, mobiles, cloth books, CDs, etc.
  • Toddlers: Puzzles, board books, learning toys, Duplo, building blocks, dolls, play kitchens, ride-on toys, push toys, walking & pulling toys, train tables, etc.
  • Kids and Teens: Action figures, educational toys, bikes, Legos, playhouses, outdoor equipment, sports equipment, American Girl, slides, swing sets, game tables (air hockey, ping pong, pool, etc.), arts & crafts, rollerblades and skates, balls, doll houses, board games, Bionicles, Polly Pockets, Hannah Montana items, Hot Wheels, etc.

  • Books: JBF accepts all books in good condition. Board, cloth, picture, chapter, educational, home school curriculum, etc.
  • Videos and Music: JBF accepts music and videos that is child appropriate. No R-rated materials. CDs sell much better than cassettes in both music and movies. JBF reserves the right to remove anything deemed inappropriate off the sales floor.
  • Electronics: Electronics sell like CRAZY! JBF accepts gaming systems, games, iPods, mp3 players, computer software, Gameboys, etc.


HOUSEHOLD ITEMS:

Do you have more "stuff" than time? Consider our VIPTagging Program. Here's how it works:

NEW THIS SALE ~ YEAR ROUND VIP TAGGING DROP OFF! As soon as you gather it, remove it!!

If you have great items to sell but not the time or the interest in tagging them, VIP Tagging may be for you. You can still put cash in your pocket without spending the time to do the actual tagging.

Here's what you need to do:

  • Email dawn@jbfsale.com to get the names of our VIP Taggers. Our VIP Taggers are trustworthy, experienced consignors who work under our guidance.
  • Space is Limited! Email us today!
  • Click HERE to login to your JBF Profile. This will give you a consignor number and register you for the current North Indy JBF Sale.
  • Set up your tagging account by clicking HERE to go to MyJBFTags.com. You will need to set up your preferences and create your profile.
  • Let the VIP tagger know your JBF Tag information.
  • Sort through your items, matching up outfits, making sure they are clean and in good condition. Please bring your very best.
  • Set up a time to drop off your clean items and supplies at the VIP Tagger's home.
  • Once the VIP Tagger informs you the tagging is complete, you will have approximately 48 hours to review the pricing so the items can be tagged. We price items based on a standard pricing guideline so that your items will sell and you will recoup the most from them.
  • Pick up the tagged items from the VIP Tagger's home and deliver them to Drop Off at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds. Your commission will be 45% less a $20 consignor fee (includes supplies). 50% if you volunteer for 4 hours - easy!!
  • If you require the assistance of our VIP Tagger to store and transport your items to the event for Drop-off, there will be a $10 delivery fee that applies.
